R2R Team Leader (Poznań | Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Record-to-Report Team Leader to oversee daily R2R operations while supporting the transition of finance processes into a Shared Services environment in Poznań. This role combines people leadership with operational involvement, ensuring high-quality service delivery and driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Record-to-Report team, fostering engagement and high performance.

  • Coordinate end-to-end R2R activities and ensure smooth execution of daily operations.

  • Monitor service quality and ensure compliance with agreed KPIs and SLAs.

  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

  • Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and other accounting deliverables.

  • Provide guidance to the team on complex accounting matters and act as the primary escalation point.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and support automation initiatives.

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and audit requirements.

  • Track operational performance, analyze key metrics, and implement corrective actions when needed.

  • Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including finance teams, business partners, and auditors.

  • Support the migration and stabilization of finance processes within the GBS organization.

What we're looking for

  • At least 5 years of professional experience within Record-to-Report processes.

  • Previous experience leading or supervising an R2R team.

  • Solid understanding of R2R processes, combined with the ability to support operational activities such as quality reviews and team guidance.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP and other finance systems used within the R2R area.

  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in an international environment.

  • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Availability to work in a hybrid model from the Poznań office (3–4 days per week).

  • Fluency in English.
