Position Summary:
The staff Radiation Therapist administers ionizing radiation to the patient in accordance with the prescription and instruction of the Radiation Oncologist.
Work Schedule:
Casual Monday - Friday
Required Qualifications:
- Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
- Completion of at least 2 academic years of post-secondary education in the field of Radiation Therapy.
- Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
- Board eligible and ARRT (T) Certification successfully completed within 6 months of hire required.
- Must maintain CEU credits as required by the ARRT.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- ARIA Record and verify system, Varian TrueBeam, Varian 21ix with onboard imaging, Phillips Big Bore CT simulator, Huestis Block Cutter
