RCU Analytics & Improvement Sr Specialist

1. Perform continuous improvements on our initiatives to bring the quality of our analytics to the next level.
2. Responsible to support planning of budgeting and leading complex projects.
3. Responsible for driving data quality.
4. Partner with teams across divisions to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities.
5. Engage with stakeholders across the organization to identify challenges in which advanced analytics will have the greatest impact, then implement it.
6. Initiate, drive, and lead cross-functional projects involving advanced analytics.
7. Contribute to defining strategies and analytical.
8. Research and develop analysis, forecasting, and optimization methods to solve questions & challenges
9. Manage the development of data & centralized data platform, gather requirements, design reports and performance measurement dashboards to share with senior management
10. Design and lead data projects for examinations, data intensive regulatory processes, or other Risk Management data initiatives
11. Develop metrics and data analytic tests to effectively evaluate different tools and partner with management to interpret the results
12. Assist with data mining projects throughout Risk Management during the exam planning process, and for periodic compliance monitoring assessments, by helping determine available data sources/tools (e.g. On Demand, Business Objects, ACL, SQL, etc.) and techniques to evaluate those sources
13. Actively seek out best practices and emerging trends both internally and externally to provide recommendations for how to leverage new techniques to manage risks
14. Perform other duties as assigned

1. Bachelor Degree holder or equivalent
2. Risk Management (BSMR Level 2)
3. Minimum 5 years work experience with relevant experience in Consumer Banking, data analysis and reporting

Technical/Functional skills

1. An understanding of risk drivers and ability to articulate risk to non-risk personnel
2. Able to use related data sources/tools applications such as SQL, Tableau, Excel Macro,etc.
3. In depth knowledge of risk related to Business/Support unit
4. Able to work independently
