React Native Developer (Client Site)
Description
About Vecton
Vecton is an AI-first technology partner dedicated exclusively to financial institutions. We design, build, and deploy production-ready, AI-enabled solutions across lending, trading, insurance, credit management, reconciliation, and wealth management, while meeting the strictest compliance and regulatory standards.
About the Role
You will be Vecton's engineering presence embedded within the client's environment, building and shipping mobile apps and JavaScript interfaces for AI-enabled financial products. You will work in an AI-accelerated workflow built on Vecton's ADLC framework (agentic harness and skills). You will report to Vecton's central engineering team, with dotted-line accountability to the client's technical leadership.
What You'll Do
- Build and ship cross-platform mobile apps (Android and iOS) in React Native, plus JavaScript/TypeScript web interfaces.
- Integrate apps with REST APIs and AI services (chat, voice, document-driven experiences).
- Implement secure flows: authentication, secure storage, KYC/eKYC journeys, and data masking.
- Own delivery from development and code review through release and post-release support, within the client's release governance.
- Use coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or equivalent) with the right harness, skills, context tools (e.g., Graphify), and strategy to ship faster without compromising quality.
- Run demos and walkthroughs that build client confidence.
What We're Looking For
- 24 years of hands-on experience building mobile apps with React Native.
- Strong JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript, and the React ecosystem (hooks, Redux/Zustand).
- Experience with React Navigation, native modules, and publishing to the Play Store and App Store.
- Experience consuming REST APIs, including error handling and offline/low-network behavior.
- Working knowledge of testing (Jest), debugging, and crash/analytics tooling (Firebase, Sentry or similar).
- Strong curiosity for AI-accelerated development. You actively use coding agents, skills, and harnesses, and you review and harden AI-generated code instead of accepting it blindly.
