- Starting pay of $133,000 - $156,000 per year depending on experience

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for overseeing the Real Estate Sales team and directing and managing all sales, member experience and service of real estate mortgage loan production from origination to funding. Accountable for achieving all sales objectives for mortgage loan products, suggesting sales production goals, and meeting them on an annual basis. Managing and developing a team of high producing internal/external Loan Officers activities during the application, approval and funding process.
Prospecting and business development efforts with Realtors, SEG’s and Community Partners. Underwriting files to FNMA guidelines and portfolio standards.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directs the management of the mortgage loan portfolio and assures that policies and procedures are implemented and maintained to optimize the potential for the achievement of goals and objectives in volume, revenues, loan quality and charge-offs.
- Ensures that all mortgage loans are underwritten to FNMA guidelines and portfolio lending standards.
- Manages the Real Estate Sales team. Assigns, directs, coordinates and reviews work of Real Estate Sales Team. Recommends departmental goals, personnel performance expectations, and appropriate staffing levels. Creates a culture of success within the department. Reviews and prepares employee performance evaluations on a timely basis. Recommends salary adjustments, promotions, disciplinary actions, discharges, and other personnel related needs, actions, or activities.
- Develops and implements strategies and tactics to attain mortgage loan growth and profitability goals that will enhance and compliment the goals and objectives of the Strategic Plan. Develop marketing strategies and campaigns for the various mortgage loan products and services.
- Serves as system administrator for Surefire CRM, which includes serving as primary vendor contact, maintaining system access, error resolution, etc.
- Provides training and refresher training for Empower LOS and Surefire CRM to staff as assigned
- Assist with UAT testing for new products and updates for LOP and Empower.
- Personally produces a pipeline and at times performs some operational duties to assure the quality of loans produced.
- Responds appropriately to member inquiries and complaints. Conducts follow up to ensure a satisfactory response and/or resolution.
- Cultivates branch awareness of mortgage products and services through frequent interaction with staff.
- Supports the achievement of Real Estate Loan Officer sales goals and development of new realtor relationships.
- Participates in various business development and community activities to increase sales and market share of all real estate products and services.
- Makes recommendations regarding loan policy and underwriting guidelines
- Ensures the timely process of mortgage applications from any delivery channel; Pipeline management and quality control; ability to meet timelines
- Works within the community to promote the credit union. This includes managing Credit Union Home Buying seminars and other mortgage business development activities.
- Assists with staff training in quality service standards, knowledge of all products and services, and the handling of difficult or complex member concerns
- Collaborate with Operations Manager to meet monthly service level agreements and coaching/training opportunities for sales team
- Recommends alterations or revisions to department policies and procedures as needed
- Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and laws enforced by the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
- Must maintain a valid registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Director of Real Estate Lending
