About the Role
HME is currently seeking a Recruiter (Temporary – 4 Month Contract) onsite at our corporate headquarters in Carlsbad, CA. to join our Human Resources team. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this role plays a critical part in attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent across our family of companies. As a strategic recruiting partner, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
This position is a 4-month temporary contract assignment designed to support key recruiting initiatives and hiring demand across the organization. The ideal candidate is an experienced recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building relationships, solving staffing challenges, and helping teams secure exceptional talent. You will manage full-cycle recruiting activities for a variety of positions while supporting recruiting operations, talent pipeline development, employer branding efforts, and other human resources initiatives.

What You Will Do
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for non-exempt hourly, professional, and mid-level positions across multiple business functions.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify workforce needs, develop recruiting strategies, and deliver qualified candidate pipelines.
- Source, screen, interview, and evaluate internal and external candidates.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines through networking, targeted sourcing, job fairs, college recruiting, employee referrals, and social media.
- Coordinate and administer pre-employment activities including assessments, background checks, reference checks, and drug screening processes.
- Manage candidate communications and ensure an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
- Prepare and present employment offers and facilitate internal transfers and promotions.
- Utilize data and recruiting metrics to evaluate recruiting effectiveness and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain accurate candidate and recruiting activity data within the UKG Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Support Affirmative Action and diversity recruiting initiatives.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives that support employee engagement, talent management, and organizational growth.
- Stay informed on talent acquisition trends, employment practices, and recruiting technologies.
What You Will Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a corporate, agency, or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong sourcing skills utilizing job boards, social media, networking, and direct outreach techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), UKG preferred, HRIS platforms, and recruiting metrics.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to influence and build credibility with hiring managers and candidates.
- Working knowledge of employment laws, immigration, and recruiting compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Pay Range: $72,500 - $86,000 per annum. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors.
