Reengagement Services Associate

Summary: In relation to contributing to Carrington College’s mission and goals, under the direct supervision of the Director of Reengagement Services, Reengagement Services Associate (RSA) will provide outreach, information and ongoing support to drop/terminated students on the benefits of returning to complete their educational goals. Associate will ensure that re-enter students are intentionally supported through to graduation with a specific re-enter retention plan while providing support to other highest-risk students. RSA will assist employees with enrollment. RSA will enroll Futuro sponsored students into the medical assisting certificate program.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implements the outreach plan to eligible drop/terminated students per campus(s) load assigned.
  • Responds to inquiries from drop/terminated students to determine eligibility and plan
  • Reviews re-entry steps, graduation requirements with eligible students and helps students navigate the re-enrollment process.
  • Coordinates re-enrollment needs with the prospective students, financial services and the Director of Student Affairs.
  • Facilitates regular retention contacts with proactive retention programs and services through to graduation.
  • Documents all outreach and contract in the student record.
  • Assist employees with the enrollment process.
  • Enroll Futuro sponsored students into applicable medical assisting certificate programs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience – Associate’s Degree and 2 years of successful sales or related work experience required. Experience in an outbound call center environment is preferred.


Language Skills – Ability to read, analyze and interpret analytical reports on inquiries, enrollments, and drops; ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees and students; ability to effectively present information to students and admissions team.
Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills – To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Access and Outlook; and master proprietary software used to maintain student records.
