Regional Director Forward Deployed Engineering Public Sector

You will lead and grow a regional Forward Deployed Engineering team serving public-sector customers. You will scope and deliver AI coding workflow engagements, maintain delivery quality, serve as an executive technical sponsor, provide product feedback, and enable consulting partners.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a regional team of Forward Deployed Engineers
• Set technical performance standards, career paths, and coaching for the team
• Scope public-sector Forward Deployed Engineering projects through discovery and architecture reviews
• Identify integration and infrastructure constraints and create time-boxed proposals with clear ROI
• Maintain delivery quality through scoping, milestone tracking, technical standards, and customer handoffs
• Serve as executive technical sponsor and primary customer contact on priority engagements
• Own delivery and customer relationships from individual contributors to C-suite stakeholders
• Provide detailed product feedback to Product and Engineering teams
• Create reusable solutions and product capabilities from successful engagements
• Train and enable GSI and consulting partners to deliver technical engagements

Requirements

• Experience directly managing engineers who build and ship production software
• Professional software development experience in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Experience building and deploying AI-powered workflows in production environments
• U.S. citizenship
• Active Public Trust, Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI security clearance, or ability to obtain one
