Description

Can you combine business partnering with hands-on HR leadership? Are you motivated by strengthening leadership, developing organisations, recruiting future talent and translating business ambitions into action?

As Regional HR Manager – Americas, you will take ownership of the regional people agenda. Working closely with the regional management team, local leaders and group HR, you will help ensure that organisational performance, capabilities and HR practices support business priorities across the region.

This is a role for someone who understands the business and can shape organisational priorities in collaboration with local management while ensuring that everyday HR processes work effectively.

The position becomes vacant on December 1st, 2026.

DEIF A/S is a worldwide leader in power efficiency. We pursue an ambitious growth strategy and want to be a global trendsetter in climate-friendly products and solutions. We want to be the go-to partner for efficient power management, renowned for our intelligent platforms and smart solutions.

Your main priorities will be recruitment and onboarding, strengthening leadership skills, and managing the full range of general HR activities. This is a broad, hands-on role in which you will turn business needs and global HR frameworks into effective local action.

The Job
This role suits a well-rounded HR generalist. You’ll work directly with managers and employees across our three subsidiaries in the Americas (Brazil, Mexico and the US), balancing planned activities with the HR questions that arise each day.

Work location: Our US subsidiary in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Your tasks will include:

  • Recruitment and onboarding: Manage hiring with local managers—from identifying needs and interviewing to offers—and give new colleagues a structured introduction to their role and DEIF’s culture.
  • Developing leadership skills: Coach managers on leadership principles, employee development, and engagement. Coordinate leadership training and follow through on development activities.
  • General HR responsibilities: Coordinate HR budgets, bonuses, compensation, and benefits; maintain policies and put global HR processes into practice locally. Handle employee matters and retention, ensuring compliance with local legal requirements and ethical standards.
  • Company culture: Embed company culture in day-to-day people management and HR practices, while driving initiatives that reinforce and develop it across the region.
  • People insights: Use relevant HR data to identify priorities, guide decisions and track the impact of initiatives.

You’ll join the Americas management team and report to the EVP of HR, Communication, and Sustainability, with a dotted line to the Senior Vice President of the Americas region.

What you’ll bring

  • 5–8 years of broad, hands-on HR experience in a generalist, manager, or partner role.
  • A master’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field.
  • A solid grounding in recruitment, onboarding, leadership and talent development, compensation, benefits, and HR policies.
  • Experience in recruiting across countries in the Americas, with the ability to work across different cultural contexts.
  • The ability to build trust, communicate clearly, and coach managers in everyday leadership.
  • An organised, sleeves-rolled-up approach: you take ownership and follow through.
  • Strong English language skills are required. Spanish or Portuguese language skills are preferred.
