Regional Marketing Specialist UK and Nordics

Reporting into the regional marketing leader, the Regional Marketing Specialist drives marketing activity for the UK and Nordics sub-region cross-business and company-wide. This includes aligning global go-to-market plans with regional insights to effectively reach and influence local audiences. The person will be working closely with regional business stakeholders on the execution of the regional strategies; responsibilities include driving demand creation through effective marketing campaigns and tactics as needed, including digital marketing, social marketing, events and more.

This hybrid position is based in our Basingstoke office, providing the perfect balance between flexible home working and valuable face-to-face team interaction.

This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity covering a maternity leave, offering the chance to gain valuable experience within a collaborative and dynamic team.

• Provides insights about region-relevant customers and market(s), based on region business strategy, local market trends, competitive insights and ensures alignment of region tactical plans to business goals.
• Works as part of cross-functional team to execute tradeshows and events in the region, supporting branded activities
• Manages the campaign and budget country in accordance with the Regional Marketing Manager
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive successful marketing performance in the UK and Nordics
• Contributes to business success by performing other tasks as required
• Follows UL Solutions Standards of Business Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices

  • University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelor’s degree) in Marketing or a related discipline
  • At least three (3) years’ professional experience in marketing field
  • Knowledge and experience with demand generation strategies, MAP/CRM tools, competitive insights gathering, planning tools and budgeting processes is a plus
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of the marketing mix, experience activating promotions and leveraging tools across a variety of promotional channels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience managing and/or using a wide array of communication tool
  • Native-level English proficiency, both written and spoken, is essential for this role.
