Regional Safety Manager (34325)
Position Summary
The Regional Safety Manager leads and supports Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs across multiple electrical construction projects within an assigned region. This role partners closely with Operations, Project Managers, Superintendents, and field employees to foster a proactive safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and reduce workplace risk.
This is a highly visible, field-based role supporting commercial, industrial, data center, and medium- and high-voltage electrical construction projects across the United States. The Regional Safety Manager builds credibility with operations leadership, proactively identifies and mitigates risk, and helps ensure every employee returns home safely each day.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safety leadership and oversight for multiple electrical construction projects, including data centers and medium- and high-voltage projects.
- Conduct regular jobsite inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Build relationships with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field personnel.
- Coach leaders on hazard recognition and safe work practices.
- Lead investigations of incidents, injuries, property damage, and near misses.
- Review safety metrics and develop action plans.
- Support JHAs, Pre-Task Plans, Energized Electrical Work Permits, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, company policies, and customer requirements.
- Deliver safety training, orientations, toolbox talks, and leadership development.
- Manage subcontractor safety performance and prequalification.
- Participate in customer meetings, audits, and OSHA inspections.
- Perform other duties as needed to support projects, operations, and the department.
