We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager (RSM) with strong expertise in wire and cabling solutions, industrial electrical products, or electrical distribution channels. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, high‑activity sales environment and demonstrates the ability to grow market share through effective channel management, distributor engagement, and strategic end‑user development.
In this role, you will drive sales, marketing initiatives, and business growth within your assigned territory. You will collaborate with distributors, OEMs, end users, and manufacturing reps to expand LUTZE’s presence in the industrial automation, cable, connectivity, and control solutions market. Your daily activities will include sales visits, product training, supporting manufacturing rep agencies, attending industry events, and working closely with internal teams such as Inside Sales, Marketing, Technical Support, and Product Management.
Responsibilities:
· Develop, grow, and maintain strong relationships with electrical distribution channel partners, contractors, OEMs, and industrial end users to drive sales volume and market penetration.
· Utilize in‑depth knowledge of industrial electrical products, wire and cable, connectivity, and control solutions to support customers and distribution partners.
· Implement channel strategies that increase product visibility, stocking programs, demand creation, and conversion of competitive products.
· Provide product training and technical demonstrations to distributors, rep agencies, and end users, highlighting the value of LUTZE’s cable, wiring, and automation solutions.
· Identify new business opportunities through market research, competitive analysis, and collaboration with local and regional partners.
· Plan and execute territory business strategies, including forecasting, territory mapping, and channel development initiatives.
· Manage regional manufacturing representatives by establishing targets, conducting regular joint sales visits, and supporting strategic business plans.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts and channel partners—supporting pricing, negotiations, issue resolution, and overall customer satisfaction.
· Conduct lunch‑and‑learns, technical presentations, and field visits to increase product awareness and competency within the channel.
· Track all opportunities, customer interactions, and sales activities using CRM tools to ensure accurate reporting and pipeline visibility.
· Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and regional events relevant to industrial and electrical and markets.
· Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams including Inside Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Product Management.
· Travel approximately 50% within the assigned territory, with additional travel as needed.
