Regional Sales Manager, Public Sector
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Regional Sales Manager, Public Sector based in Brazil.
This is a senior field-sales opportunity focused on growing and retaining complex Public Sector accounts across Brazil.
You will own strategic customer relationships, driving expansion, product adoption, and successful renewals across an assigned portfolio.
The role combines consultative selling, executive engagement, commercial strategy, and deep understanding of cybersecurity solutions.
You will build account plans, identify new use cases and buying centers, and connect customer priorities with business value.
Success requires close collaboration with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Professional Services, Marketing, Finance, and channel partners.
You will operate with significant autonomy while managing sophisticated accounts and engaging decision-makers up to the executive level.
The position is remote and designed for an experienced sales professional who can influence customers and drive measurable revenue outcomes.
Accountabilities:
- Own the growth, retention, and expansion of assigned Public Sector accounts through cross-sell, up-sell, new use cases, product adoption, and renewal strategies.
- Develop and execute comprehensive business plans for strategic accounts, mapping customer requirements, business priorities, stakeholders, and opportunities to relevant cybersecurity solutions.
- Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, including senior and executive-level stakeholders, and identify opportunities across multiple customer buying centers.
- Own the renewal lifecycle, including forecasting, risk identification, commercial negotiation, stakeholder alignment, and successful close.
- Coordinate customer handoffs and ongoing engagement with internal teams to support adoption, expansion, flexible purchasing models, and long-term account retention.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records, including opportunity values, sales stages, customer contacts, business drivers, commitments, and product information.
- Drive achievement of expansion quotas, Net Revenue Retention (NRR), product adoption, and utilization of flexible licensing models.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Professional Services, Marketing, Channel and Alliance teams, Finance, and Customer Support to deliver coordinated account strategies.
- Promote cybersecurity solutions and strengthen customer awareness by communicating relevant use cases, value propositions, and success stories.
- Provide customer and market feedback to internal teams to support improvements to products, systems, and commercial processes.
- Apply AI technologies where relevant to improve decision-making, streamline workflows, increase sales efficiency, and support stronger business outcomes.
- Operate primarily in the field, meeting customers and partners as required across the assigned territory.
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant professional experience in enterprise technology, cybersecurity, software, or a related B2B sales environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated expert-level experience selling complex technology or cybersecurity solutions to large and sophisticated organizations.
- Strong understanding of the Public Sector industry, customer decision-making processes, business objectives, and procurement environments.
- Proven ability to manage large, complex enterprise accounts and deliver expansion, retention, and renewal results.
- Expert-level presentation, negotiation, customer engagement, and commercial/business acumen.
- Strong consultative selling capabilities, with the ability to establish credibility and long-term trust with internal and external stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of sales methodologies, sales cycles, software business value concepts, and enterprise security solutions.
- Ability to develop strategic account plans and translate customer challenges into compelling technology solutions and business outcomes.
- Strong leadership, ownership, and self-motivation, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, complex, and highly collaborative environment.
- Experience using AI technologies to enhance business decisions, sales workflows, productivity, or customer outcomes.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background is preferred.
