Schedule: Night Shift | Full Time
Lead and direct daily nursing operations by managing staff assignments, setting clear shift priorities, and optimizing resources to ensure the delivery of exceptional, population-appropriate patient care.
Mentor and develop frontline clinical teams through active coaching, education, and performance feedback, fostering a supportive environment where nursing and support staff can thrive.
Optimize unit productivity and resource allocation by monitoring daily patient needs, balancing staffing levels, and proactively managing variances to maintain high operational standards.
Resolve patient care concerns and complaints efficiently using established facility channels, advocate for patient needs, and maintain a seamless, high-satisfaction care experience.
Collaborate on talent and team growth by providing strategic input into hiring, training, and performance evaluations, ensuring the unit is staffed with skilled, motivated professionals.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences:
- Proven clinical leadership or charge nurse experience within an acute care or relevant specialized unit.
