- Deliver direct patient care as a Registered Nurse (RN), ensuring high-quality outcomes while following clinical protocols, safety standards, and patient-centered care practices.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, assessing patient conditions and adjusting interventions to support recovery, continuity of care, and overall patient outcomes.
- Coordinate care across the interdisciplinary team, ensuring effective communication, seamless care coordination, and improved patient experience throughout the healthcare continuum.
- Document and communicate patient status using Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR), maintaining accurate clinical documentation and supporting compliance, safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
Additional Preferences:
- 2 years previous emergency department experience preferred.
