Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

• Department: Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum

• Schedule: Days | Part Time

• Lead personalized care plans for mothers and newborns, ensuring safety and comfort from active labor through postpartum recovery.
• Coordinate the multidisciplinary team as the primary patient advocate to deliver a seamless, high-quality birthing experience.
• Monitor and communicate real-time patient data to ensure swift, proactive clinical interventions for the mother-baby dyad.
• Empower families for the transition home by managing comprehensive discharge planning and essential newborn education.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

One or more of the following are preferred:

• Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
