Registered Nurse Neuro Intermediate Care

- Department/Specialty: Inpatient, Acuity adaptable Unit
- Schedule: PRN, Night shift. Minimum 36 hours per six-week schedule
- Lead the coordination of multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive seamless, well integrated care tailored to their neurological recovery.
- Assess and adapt personalized care plans continuously to meet the evolving physical and cognitive needs of patients with complex brain and spine conditions.
- Monitor and interpret vital clinical changes to provide immediate interventions that safeguard patient safety and optimize neurological outcomes.
- Guide the discharge planning process alongside families and specialists to ensure a safe transition from hospital to home or rehabilitation.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Additional Preferences:
- Acute care experience
