What You'll Do
- Provide direct nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Prepare and educate patients for surgery.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff.
- Monitor patient status and respond using sound clinical judgment.
- Educate patients and families on recovery and follow-up care.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
Required
- Active RN license in Indiana or another compact licensure state.
Preferred
- BSN.
- Previous surgery or perioperative nursing experience.
