- Develop tailored care plans: Evaluate patients with respiratory insufficiencies to establish comprehensive, diagnosis-based treatment strategies.
- Deliver advanced respiratory care: Administer complex care modalities, manage specialized equipment and monitor real-time patient conditions to maximize recovery outcomes.
- Optimize clinical effectiveness: Continuously assess medication responses and treatment performance to adjust care plans based on individual patient progress.
- Empower patients and families: Educate patients and caregivers on managing their conditions while connecting them with vital community support programs.
- Lead emergency resuscitation: Respond swiftly to life-threatening resuscitation codes as a key member of the urgent response team.
- Required Credential(s):
- Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Respiratory Care Practitioners Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- One or more of the following:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Instructor specializing in Basic Life Support obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
