Remedial Massage Therapist - Hamilton Hill

Our Homecare team at LifeCare is growing and as a result, we are looking for a Remedial Massage Therapist to join our team on a casual, part-time, or full-time basis.

You will with within our multi-disciplinary community allied health team, providing remedial massage to clients in their own home. You will provide holistic, integrated care to our clients enhancing their mobility and movement to promote their independence and wellbeing. You will work with clients with a wide variety of physical conditions and tailor your care to make a real difference in your client’s quality of life. This role involves working mostly with older adults and adults living with a disability.

In this role you will be...

• Assess clients' musculoskeletal concerns and collaboratively establish treatment goals.
• Develop individualised treatment plans based on clinical assessment findings and client objectives.
• Deliver evidence-based remedial massage treatments aligned to agreed outcomes.
• Support clients to improve mobility, reduce discomfort, and enhance participation in daily activities.
• Provide high-quality services within clients' homes in a safe, professional, and client-focused manner.
• Educate clients on self-management strategies, posture, movement patterns, and overall wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, treatment notes, and records.
• Collaborate with Care Managers, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and other allied health professionals to support client outcomes.
• Deliver person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity, and quality of life.
• Identify clinical red flags and make appropriate referrals to relevant health professionals when required.

• Willing to undergo a National Criminal History check upon successful application
• Fully insured vehicle
• CPR certification
• Willing to have an annual flu vaccination
