Requirements
Licensing — Please Read Carefully
This role requires an active insurance license. Which one you need depends on where you're based:
• Local to Cape Coral, Fort Myers, or Lehigh Acres, FL: A 440 license qualifies you for our in-office position.
• Based elsewhere in Florida, or fully remote: You'll need a 220 or 2044 Florida license to be eligible for remote work.
• Based out of state with an active Property & Casualty (P&C) license: You may qualify if your license is transferable to Florida. Transfer costs (typically $55–$100) and fingerprinting are the candidate's responsibility.
If you're unsure which category you fall into, apply anyway — we'll help clarify during the screening process.
What You Bring
• An active insurance license appropriate to your location and work arrangement (see Licensing section above) — required
• Prior experience in insurance sales — strongly preferred
• Prior experience specifically with Property & Casualty (P&C) products — preferred
• Allstate-specific experience is a must
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly, customer-first approach
• Strong self-motivation and time-management skills
• Tech-savviness with CRM platforms and virtual meeting tools
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly
