Remote QA Engineer — 12-Month Maternity Cover & Automation

Beefree is seeking a QA Engineer for a 12-month maternity cover, working in a Shift-Left framework to ensure software quality from the start of development. You will design functional and exploratory tests, and develop automated end-to-end tests using Cypress, integrating with the team’s QA infrastructure.

Analyze functional and technical requirements early in the development lifecycle. Design and execute functional and exploratory tests. Develop and maintain automated end-to-end tests (Cypress). Identify, report, and track bugs through to resolution. Collaborate daily with developers and product teams. Experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester. Solid understanding of software testing methodologies. Familiarity with Agile environments and Shift-Left testing. Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills. Team-player attitude and good communication skills. Experience using AI for test generation and QA setups.
