About the Role
This is a fully remote position, where you will be working remotely (anywhere)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Flutter Developer to design, build, and maintain high-quality applications across Android, iOS, and Web.
You will play a key role in application architecture, technical decision-making, code quality, and delivery, while taking ownership of features throughout the full development lifecycle — from technical design and implementation through deployment and production support.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Flutter and Dart across mobile and web platforms.
Take ownership of features end-to-end, including technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Define and maintain clean, scalable application architecture and reusable components.
Develop complex user interfaces, application state, navigation, API integrations, and data-driven features.
Implement offline-first functionality, including local persistence, caching, data synchronization, conflict handling, and recovery from interrupted operations.
Manage complex file workflows involving uploads, downloads, local storage, caching, large files, and retry/resume functionality.
Integrate REST APIs, authentication services, push notifications, analytics tools, and third-party SDKs.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across Flutter, native platforms, web, networking, storage, and application lifecycle.
Optimize application startup time, rendering performance, memory consumption, network usage, and overall user experience.
Develop and maintain unit, widget, and integration tests.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining strong engineering and development standards.
Requirements
At least 5 years of software development experience, with strong hands-on production experience using Flutter and Dart.
Proven experience developing, deploying, and maintaining Flutter applications for iOS and Android.
Experience working with Flutter Web.
Strong understanding of Flutter internals, including widget lifecycle, rendering, asynchronous programming, isolates, and performance optimization.
Strong knowledge of software architecture and design patterns such as Clean Architecture, MVVM, or similar approaches.
Hands-on experience with state management solutions such as BLoC/Cubit, Riverpod, Provider, or equivalent.
Experience with local persistence technologies such as SQLite, Drift, Isar, Hive, or similar.
Experience designing offline data synchronization, retry mechanisms, conflict resolution, and connectivity-aware workflows.
Strong experience handling files, storage, uploads/downloads, permissions, and cross-platform differences between mobile, web, Android, and iOS.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON serialization, authentication, networking, and error handling.
Familiarity with native Android and iOS development concepts and Flutter platform channels.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently troubleshoot complex technical issues.
