Remote Senior .NET Engineer: Azure & Microservices

Fanisko is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join a remote team and lead the design of modern, scalable applications using C#, ASP.NET, and/ or .NET 6+. You will implement REST APIs and microservices with an emphasis on cloud deployments and architecture modernization.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of development experience, a strong grasp of Azure-based services, and hands-on experience with containerization and CI/CD in a collaborative Agile environment.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using ASP.NET MVC and .NET 6/7/8/10. Build REST APIs and microservices, integrating with databases (SQL/NoSQL). Leverage Azure services (Azure SQL, Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault, Service Bus, Blob Storage). Containerize apps with Docker and orchestrate with Compose or similar tools. Support modernization and migration to microservices. Ensure CI/CD, observability, and performance monitoring. Mentor junior developers and participate in Agile ceremonies. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field is required. 6+ years of development experience with C# and .NET platforms. Experience building REST APIs and microservices. Proficiency with Azure services and cloud deployments. Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines. Strong communication within Agile teams.
