Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment of applications.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of cloud environments.
- Automate operational tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to optimize application deployment and performance in the cloud.
- Contribute to architectural decisions related to cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
- Stay current with emerging cloud and DevOps technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.
- Participate in on-call rotation for incident response and management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on cloud and DevOps.
- Proven expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- In-depth knowledge of IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Proficiency in container orchestration (Kubernetes) and containerization (Docker).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Excellent understanding of networking, security, and monitoring principles in cloud environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
