Renewable Energy Systems Engineer
Job Responsibilities
Design and develop renewable energy systems, including solar, wind and hydro projects.
Conduct feasibility assessments, system sizing, and detailed engineering designs.
Perform engineering calculations and support project execution from design through implementation.
Oversee projects to ensure technical accuracy, timelines, and quality standards are met.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation and analyse system performance data.
Collaborate closely with clients, engineers & technicians, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver project outcomes.
Ensure that projects comply with local regulations and standards.
Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to support continuous improvement.
Identify opportunities for optimisation and efficiency across projects.
Experience & Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or related discipline.
3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in renewable energy projects.
Familiarity with renewable energy software tools (PVsyst, HOMER).
Strong understanding of photovoltaic systems, wind turbines, and energy storage.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Effective communication skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
