Residential Supervisor (Shamrock House - Minneapolis, MN)

People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a Residential Supervisor to join our Shamrock program, a long-term residential program. This full-time supervisory position provides the supervision, selection, and training of assigned staff. This role will provide program oversight to ensure that services meet the standards of People Incorporated in a manner that is consistent with the Mission, Vision and Values of the organization.

Schedule: Full-Time (Mondays-Fridays from 9:00am-5:30pm)

  • On-Site
  • On-call rotation on the weekends once a month at the scope of Shamrock and three other locations
  • There will be some after-hour calls that may need to be taken
  • The need to travel is very rare
  • Mileage is paid/reimbursed for travel ($0.70/per mile)

Location: Shamrock House (1380 West Minnehaha Parkway, Minneapolis, MN 55419)

Hiring Range: $55,025 - $62,000 Salary, dependent on qualifications

Hiring Bonus: $2,000 hiring bonus to external candidates

Main Job Duties:

  • Support organization’s Mission, Vision and Values as well as program and organizational policies, procedures and service standards, ensuring staff understand and integrate accordingly.
  • Supervise the work of assigned program staff to ensure adherence to quality standards and proper procedures, providing coaching when errors or problems are discovered and conducting regular 1:1 supervision with all assigned employees.
  • Attract, hire, orient and retain high-quality staff.
  • Provide training, assess strengths and development needs, and provide timely and specific feedback on job duties, company policies and best practices.
  • Partner with staff on identifying and developing professional goals that encourage and support professional growth within the organization.
  • Coordinate staff meetings and program scheduling, ensuring that proper coverage occurs. May co-facilitate meetings with others as needed.
  • Provide direct client services in an integrative and collaborative manner.
  • In partnership with other program leaders, review program procedures and service standards, establish proper authority relationships among members of the work group and create a congenial work environment.
  • Ability to drive clients to appointments and community outings.
