Key Responsibilities This is a full time position working a mixture of weekdays and weekend shifts.Operational leadership – manage day-to-day venue operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and company standardsTeam management – recruit, train, and motivate staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work cultureCustomer experience – deliver outstanding service, resolve feedback promptly, and drive customer satisfaction and loyaltyFinancial management – develop and control budgets while maximising revenuePerformance analysis – monitor financial performance to identify cost savings and revenue growth opportunitiesPricing strategy – optimise menu and pricing strategies to maximise profitabilityEvents and marketing – plan promotions and events, working with marketing to drive business growthInventory oversight – manage stock levels and procurement of food, beverage, and suppliesVendor management – build supplier relationships and negotiate favourable contract termsReporting – track KPIs and present performance insights to senior managementWhat You’ll Bring Proven experience as a restaurant manager or in a similar role within restaurants or hotelsStrong understanding of food and beverage service standards, with a track record of achieving budget targets through accurate forecasting and cost controlExperience recruiting, training, and leading diverse teams, fostering collaboration, morale, and professional growthCommercial thinking, with the ability to weigh up revenue, cost, and risk factors to drive performance and optimise resourcesStrong communication skills, with the ability to gauge audience reaction and adjust your approach to gain agreement and buy-in from othersResilience and dependability, maintaining high standards, focus, and a positive outlook even under pressureHow You Work Daymaker ethos — no one’s too big for the small things.
