As a Senior buyer, you will be responsible for:

Managing product assortment and product specifications to identify and address opportunities within the business and the market
Negotiating product costs, terms and shipping/return issues
Creating effective partnerships with supply chain, distribution centers, and stores operations
Identifying products that will maximize promotional and marketing strategies
Collaborating with other merchandising functions to determine product lifecycles
Participating in recommending, setting and approving product pricing strategies
Planing and developing a merchandising team to support a growing organization.

For this position:

Ideally we are looking for someone with:

More than 7 years of retail buying experience in a national retailer
Experience working in a multi SKU category
Experience being a proven leader and handling teams with great passion
Experience leading a cross functional team of planners, product developers and vendors
Good experience building strong vendor relationships
