Revenue Analyst - Groups Conferencing and Events

About the Role

We are seeking a commercially minded Revenue Analyst - Groups, Conferencing & Events to help maximise revenue performance across Hilton Sydney's extensive group accommodation, conference and event business.

Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will analyse market trends, booking pace, demand patterns and event opportunities to support pricing, forecasting and inventory decisions. Working closely with Revenue Management, Sales, Events and Operations teams, you will play a key role in optimising profitability across one of Australia's most complex hotel and event operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse group rooms and catering performance, booking pace and demand trends.

• Support pricing and revenue strategies to maximise group and event profitability.

• Prepare and create reports with commercial insights for business reviews.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and lost business opportunities.

• Evaluate group and catering enquiries to support revenue recommendations.

• Assist in managing event space utilisation and demand calendars.

• Partner with Sales, Events and Operations teams to drive commercial outcomes.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in hotel Revenue Management, Revenue Analysis or Commercial Analytics.

• Experience working within a large hotel or venue with significant conferences, events or MICE business.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills with advanced Excel capability.

• Ability to interpret data and translate insights into commercial actions.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of hotel systems and revenue management principles is highly regarded.
