Summary
Audits gaming and non-gaming revenue at a casino to ensure compliance with regulations and accurate accounting, reporting discrepancies to management.
SUMMARY:
Under general direction of the Controller, the Revenue Auditor is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations, internal control standards and company policies by performing daily audits on gaming and non-gaming areas. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.
The Revenue Auditor is responsible for ensuring that all accounting activities are performed accurately and efficiently, in accordance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission, Federal and State Tax Commissions, and established policies, procedures and controls.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following is a list of the main duties/responsibilities. However, other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management.
- Audit all gaming and non-gaming areas according to established procedures and gaming regulations as well as facilitates timely and accurate recordings.
- Communicate with company personnel to ensure that all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Review system documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate with all departments of any discrepancies via exceptions.
- Maintain support documentation for further review.
- Notify immediate supervisor of any potential discrepancies and assists with research and resolution of problems.
- Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
- May be required to work holidays, weekends, and evenings to meet deadlines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
