As an intern, you will work at the forefront of robotics innovation, collaborating closely with our senior R&D engineers to bring complex features from concept to reality.
Project Tracks- Vision‑Language Model (VLM) Integration
- Integrate VLMs for high‑level scene understanding and adaptive task planning.
- Develop pipelines to process sensor data and generate actionable commands for robotic sorting tasks.
- Simulation Environment Setup (NVIDIA Isaac Sim / Omniverse)
- Construct and configure the digital twins of a mock‑up workspace using Isaac Sim or Omniverse.
- Configure physics properties, sensor modeling, and environment lighting conditions.
- Real‑to‑Sim using 3D Gaussian Splatting
- Evaluate and implement state‑of‑the‑art open source solutions for 3D Gaussian Splatting.
- Build scene reconstruction pipeline from real‑world camera feeds using evaluated open source solution.
- Familiar with Python programming and the current landscape of frontier LLMs (open/closed source).
- Experience with prompting (context engineering) and an understanding/intuition about strengths and weaknesses of current LLMs.
- Knowledge or experience in robotics or related fields like actuators, sensor perception (vision, lidar, etc).
- Added advantage if familiar with ROS/ROS2, humanoid robotics, or navigation algorithms.
- Added advantage with knowledge in Docker.
- Willingness to learn, perform tasks and solve problems.
- Good communication skills, fluent in English, both written and oral.
