Are you fluent in Romanian and English, customer-focused, and confident in handling inquiries professionally and empathetically?
We are recruiting a Romanian-speaking Insurance Customer Support Consultant for an international insurance project based in Lisbon, Portugal.
You will assist clients and insurance brokers with policy inquiries, coverage information, and administrative requests, providing reliable support via phone and email.
Your Role
As an Insurance Customer Support Consultant, you will:
• Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls.
• Respond to customer inquiries via email.
• Explain insurance products, policy coverage, and relevant procedures.
• Assist clients with policy cancellation requests.
• Help insurance brokers direct their inquiries to the appropriate teams.
• Provide clear, accurate, and professional information.
• Manage complaints and sensitive conversations calmly.
• Follow internal procedures and maintain accurate customer records.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a high-quality customer experience.
What We Are Looking For
• C2 level in Romanian.
• B2 level in English.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Patience, empathy, and professionalism.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in using computers and customer management systems.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Previous experience in customer service or insurance is an advantage.
Working Hours
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating shifts between 7:30 AM and 8:00 PM.
• Portuguese public holidays may be working days.
• Saturdays and Sundays off.
Salary and Benefits
• Indicative Monthly Financial Package: €1,251.19
Based on a 12-month equivalent:
• Base salary: €920 gross/month, paid in 14 annual salary payments.
• Holiday and Christmas bonus: Combined monthly equivalent of €153.33.
• Complexity bonus: €10 gross/month, paid over 11 months of the year.
• Meal allowance: €7.63 per eligible working day, equivalent to €167.86 for 22 days.
Potential Performance Bonus
• Up to €100 gross/month, subject to performance criteria.
• Potential monthly package including maximum bonus: €1,351.19.
Additional Benefits
• Initial 6-month employment contract.
• Regular Monday-Friday work schedule.
