Sales Administration & Local Sales Specialist

Description

• The intern will support the Remarketing Team in achieving its business objectives by contributing to activities related to the end-of-contract phase of rental and leasing vehicles and their subsequent sales.
• Under the guidance of the Sales Administration and Local Sales Team, the intern will gain hands-on experience in administrative and after-sales processes related to vehicles owned by Volkswagen Bank and Volkswagen Leasing.

Role and duty – core business

• • • • Administration of buy-back sales (RAC vehicles) to the National Sales Company (VGI)
      • Support in dealer management activities
      • Communication of sales results and confirmation of winning bidders (local sales process)
      • Monitoring and control of incoming payments (local sales process
      • Support in credit checks on buyers (local sales process)
      • Support in the release of sold vehicles (local sales process)
      • Support in ownership transfer and invoicing activities (local sales process)
      • Assistance with back-office activities, such as self-billing, vehicle registration record checks and customer data updates
      • Communication and coordination with buyers and external stakeholders
      • Support in the management of severely damaged vehicles and wrecks
      • Support in B2C sales processes

Competences

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with a particular focus on Excel (intermediate level or above)
• Passion for and interest in the automotive industry
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Curiosity about digital tools, AI and emerging technologies is considered a plus
