Sales - Business Development Lead - Digital, ANZ (12 months contract)

As the Business Development Lead for Digital, you will drive digital strategy and e-commerce growth across Australia and New Zealand, identifying and scaling opportunities to maximise Apple's digital business with Partners. You will identify opportunities, build compelling business cases, and prepare persuasive presentations to secure internal alignment and inspire external partners. Through detailed analysis and strategic insight, you will uncover sales opportunities across digital channels and lead the implementation of initiatives that deliver high performance and profitable growth for Apple and its Partners. You will build strong partner relationships and develop partner capabilities, collaborating closely with the WW Digital Channel team, Marcom, and Finance to ensure best-in-class execution across all digital and e-commerce initiatives.
Have a deep understanding of the ANZ retail and carrier channel, eCommerce landscape, partners and the needs of our end customers. Own the development of ANZ’s digital growth strategy — translating business priorities into an implementation plan that drives meaningful results. Develop and deploy online quality rebate (OQR) and other digital programs to develop partner digital CX capabilities at all levels from tactical and strategic that improves conversion. Collaborate with Channel Sales teams to develop new digital capabilities and capture growth opportunities through the development of our partners’ digital channels. Leverage sales data and digital analytics to identify scalable opportunities, create solutions and implement approaches to drive the business across each element of the sales funnel. Monitor market trends and emerging technologies, translating insights into actionable strategies that drive sales growth with partners Understand the digital capabilities of partners to identify areas for improvement, ensuring close collaboration with Account Managers and Marketing. Maintain repository of partner capability scorecards and update as needed. Work closely with WW Digital Channel team and other cross-functional teams (Operations, Marketing, Finance) to execute digital playbooks for the region.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS preferred, or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in digital commerce, online trading and digital CX or a similar role, preferably in an eCommerce or technology-focused environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in evaluating and capitalising on high-impact business opportunities to drive organisational growth.
- Proven ability to leverage data and analytics to develop strategic insights and drive business decisions
- High attention to detail and obsesses over customer experience.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and globally to use knowledge to gain competitive advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to positively influence people across all functional areas of an organisation.
