Job Summary
Responsible for driving sales growth and developing customer accounts within assigned industry segments. The role involves understanding customer requirements, providing technical sales support, preparing quotations and proposals, and collaborating with solution and project teams to deliver cost-effective engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop sales strategies and identify new business opportunities to achieve annual sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, system integrators, and business partners.
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable technical solutions and product recommendations.
- Prepare quotations, cost estimates, tender submissions, and technical proposals.
- Support RFIs/RFPs, technical presentations, solution design, and bid clarifications.
- Coordinate with internal solution and project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality and contractual requirements.
- Provide technical support and resolve customer queries throughout the sales process.
- Identify opportunities for product sales, maintenance services, and facility management solutions.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and weekly pipeline reports.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; experience in data centres, engineering, or building services is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of building systems, including electrical, mechanical, and fire protection systems.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
- Knowledge of networking and control systems, including TCP/IP, Ethernet, VPN, and related technologies, is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Visio and Microsoft Project is preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn new products and technologies.
