Sales Engineer
Summary
Pre-sales engineer delivering cybersecurity demos, POCs, and technical proposals to partners and clients, while enabling teams with training and solution architectures.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Pre-Sales & Technical Support: Serve as the technical advisor to partners and end-users by delivering impactful product presentations, solution demos, complex Proofs of Concept (POCs), and technical proposals.
- Documentation & Scoping: Lead the preparation of technical documentation, including Statements of Work (SOW), compliance matrices, and solution architectures tailored to client requirements.
- Hands-on Technical Execution: Independently set up, manage, and execute hands-on POCs to prove solution value and satisfy technical requirements.
- Partner Enablement & Education: Design and deliver technical training sessions, product updates, and enablement workshops to empower partner engineers and end-users.
- Commercial Collaboration: Partner closely with Channel Account Managers and Product Managers to qualify leads, clear technical roadblocks, and accelerate deal closures.
- Continuous Learning & Certification: Maintain working proficiency and achieve required technical certifications across assigned vendor product lines through self-directed and vendor-led training.
- Reporting & Tracking: Maintain accurate and timely reporting on POC status, partner interactions, and pre-sales pipeline updates.
Requirements
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of at least 2 years of hands-on technical experience in network infrastructure and cybersecurity environments.
- Core Knowledge: Solid understanding of core networking fundamentals (routing/switching, TCP/IP) and security concepts (NGFW, EDR/XDR, NDR, IAM, SASE, or Threats Analysis/Investigation).
- Key Competencies:Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with customer/partner-facing confidence.Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment.Growth mindset with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to emerging security technologies.
Preferred Qualifications

- Existing vendor certifications (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, CrowdStrike, Cisco) or industry certifications (e.g., Security+, Network+).
Other Information:
• Working hours: 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday
• Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experiences
