Sales Engineer, Semiconductor

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within semiconductor manufacturers, OSATs, OEMs, and related supply chain partners.
  • Expand existing customer relationships and penetrate new accounts.

Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
  • Serve as the primary commercial contact for assigned accounts.
  • Understand customer requirements and align solutions to support their business needs.

Sales Planning & Forecasting

  • Prepare and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and pipeline reports.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Ensure accurate demand forecasting and timely reporting to management.

Market Intelligence

  • Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
  • Identify emerging opportunities within semiconductor manufacturing, packaging, and advanced technology segments.
  • Provide actionable market insights to support business planning and product development.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, operations, quality, and product development teams to support customer projects.
  • Coordinate product evaluations, sample submissions, and qualification activities.
  • Support the successful launch of new products and solutions.

Commercial Management

  • Lead pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and commercial agreements.
  • Ensure profitability targets are achieved while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor customer payment performance and support accounts receivable management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of sales, business development, or account management experience within the semiconductor, electronics, or advanced manufacturing industries.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, supply chains, and industry dynamics.
  • Proven track record of delivering sales growth and managing key customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
