It's now emerging from a full refurbishment of all 78 rooms, and we're introducing our new product to the market. Once you're in, there's no limits on where your career could take you.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver the hotel's strategic sales plan across all market segments, driving sales targets and developing new businessManage the full event sales cycle from enquiry to confirmed booking, covering meetings, functions, corporate and social events, and weddingsExecute proactive and reactive sales activity, including site inspections, upselling and prompt follow up on every leadBuild and maintain strong client relationships, responding to all enquiries within 24 hours and troubleshooting customer and internal stakeholder issuesPartner with the F&B, Kitchen, Front Office and Reservations teams to ensure every event is executed and delivered to the highest standardMaintain iVvy and client databases, analyse sales data and support accurate events forecasting and reportingWhat You'll BringPrevious hotel sales or reservations experience (advantageous)Event sales and coordination experience (preferred)Solid knowledge of hotel products, event spaces and the unique characteristics and market of the propertyThe ability to turn sales data into practical, commercially sound actionsKnowledge of hotel and event management systems such as Opera and iVvyStrong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, courteous mannerA relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Hospitality, Sales or Marketing (desirable)How You WorkDaymaker ethos — no one's too big for the small things.Owner's mindset — acts on data/feedback; ships improvements.Hands-on and non-hierarchical — leads from the front.Resilient and solutions-focused — stays calm, moves fast.Perks from Day OneAs part of EVT, you unlock Elevate Perks from your first day.
