Job Summary:

Join a growing logistics organisation to drive business development and expand customer portfolios across freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, and contract logistics solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in contract logistics, warehousing, transportation, freight forwarding, and supply chain solutions.
• Achieve sales targets and revenue growth through the acquisition and development of new customers.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
• Contribute to corporate sales planning and business development strategies.
• Prepare and submit proposals, quotations, and solutions tailored to customer requirements.
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries and follow up on business opportunities.
• Communicate customer requirements and expectations effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
• Gather and provide market, industry, and customer intelligence to support business growth initiatives.
• Monitor customer accounts and ensure payments are received within agreed credit terms.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Sales, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of business development or hunter sales experience within the freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain industry.
• Experience in 3PL and contract logistics warehousing solutions.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding, contract logistics, warehousing, transportation, and supply chain management solutions.
• Proven ability to develop new business opportunities and manage customer relationships.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
• Results-driven, proactive, and customer-focused approach to sales and business development.
