Job Summary
The Sales Intern will support the Sales department by assisting with various tasks while gaining a foundational understanding of material products and their applications.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide superior levels of customer service to each customer by understanding and meeting client needs
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and industry events
- Prepare and submit accurate quotes, contracts, and pricing strategies for projects
- Maintain detailed customer records using automated systems
- Provide post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term relationships
- Shadow Sales team members and travel to various jobsites to gain hands-on experience
- Support the Sales team by developing a pipeline of projects and coordinating job-site services
- Monitor market trends, product innovations, and competitor activities
- Contribute to marketing initiatives that promote products and services
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education and/or Work Experience
- Must be actively working towards a college degree in Business, Communications, or a related field

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to utilize hands and fingers in order to type and carry reports should the need require
- Ability to stand, walk, and reach with arms and hands throughout the workday should the need arise
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch should the need arise
- Ability to sit for a long period of time, possibly more than 90% of the workday
- Ability to see clearly or with assistance via necessary correction
- Sometimes driving long distances to job sites
