Sales Manager (Offshore)
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities within the shipping, maritime and offshore sectors.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and client engagement to negotiation and contract closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, shipyards, operators, and key industry stakeholders.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with regional and global business objectives.
- Prepare and deliver technical-commercial proposals in collaboration with engineering and technical teams.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for expansion.
- Represent the organization at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
- Coordinate closely with internal departments (engineering, services, projects and operations) to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and reports for senior management.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven sales experience, preferably within the shipping, marine, offshore industry.
- Strong understanding of vessel operations, ship management, project management, vessel construction, repairs, ship agency or related technical solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Maritime, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and deliver results in a competitive market.
- Strong network and relationship-building skills with key industry stakeholders.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and industry engagements.
- Results-driven, proactive, and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
