Sales Operations Director
As the Sales Operations Director, you will serve as a strategic partner to the PMC Leadership Team, driving commercial effectiveness through analytics, forecasting, sales process optimization, and operational governance. This role will influence commercial decision-making by establishing global standards, providing actionable business insights, and fostering alignment across regional commercial organizations.
*Role is availabile in Pittsburgh, or office in Poland.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Generate and create reports that provide insights to sales managers and executives, helping them make informed decisions and develop effective sales and pricing strategies. Analyze sales performance, pricing trends, price realization, customer profitability, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for growth and margin improvement. Create plans for monthly and quarterly performance rollups.
- Forecasting: Support IBP process owner and annual and quarterly forecasting activities aligned to committed financial plans
- Lead annual targeting setting process using commercial and market intelligence to develop individual growth goals
- Territory and Quota Management: Align with regional commercial leadership to develop territory, account coverage, and quota recommendations. Utilize commercial analytics and market intelligence to support equitable account distribution and alignment with growth objectives while ensuring consistency with global sales operations standards.
- Sales Compensation Management: Partner with the finance and HR departments to design and administer sales compensation plans. Ensure that commission structures are fair, accurate, and aligned with the organization's goals.
- Sales and Commercial Training: Design effective training plans supporting sales incentive training and utilization of commercial tools (e.g. PowerBI, Sales Force, Varicent).
- Influence and align cross-functional stakeholders across many levels of the organization to drive adoption of best practices and support achievement of business objectives.
Qualifications / Prior Experiences
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years commercial operations and selling experience
- Demonstrated success leading through influence in a matrixed, global organization.
- In-depth knowledge of sales technologies /CRMs
- Extensive knowledge of commercial process and work flows
- Working knowledge of pricing analytics, price realization, and profitability analysis preferred.
- Prior experience administering sales compensation plans
