SALES SUPERVISOR (KEYHOLDER)

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Sales Supervisor (Keyholder) is an hourly, commission-eligible sales-floor leader who delivers exceptional client experiences while helping the store achieve its sales goalsYou will spend the majority of your time working directly with clients—styling, selling, building relationships, and creating the high-touch experience Veronica Beard is known for.

As a leader on the floor, you will set the pace, mentor Sales Associates, and help create an energized and collaborative selling environment. You will also support the Store Management team with opening and closing responsibilities and serve as Manager-on-Duty when the Store Manager or Assistant Manager is not present.

In addition to your hourly base pay, you will earn up to 3% commission on individual sales, with the opportunity to earn up to 4% based on the store’s achievement of its sales goals. Commission is subject to the applicable commission plan.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

DRIVE SALES AND CLIENT EXPERIENCE

• Deliver personalized service and styling that reflects the Veronica Beard experience
• Take ownership of individual sales goals by converting in-store traffic and proactively generating business, contributing to the store’s overall performance
• Build, maintain and engage an active client book through consistent outreach, thoughtful follow-up, community engagement, and in-store events to drive new and repeat business
• Develop expert knowledge of our collections, fit, product stories, and styling to drive individual and store sales
• Stay curious and current on fashion trends, helping clients build thoughtfully styled wardrobes that reflect their individual style.

LEAD THE SALES FLOOR

• Maintain an active leadership presence, lead by example and help move the business forward
• Communicate daily priorities, organize floor coverage, and lead team touch-bases
• Mentor Sales Associates through team selling and thoughtful, in-the-moment coaching on selling, styling, and clienteling
• Recognize strong performance and share relevant feedback with Store Management
• Help create an inclusive, collaborative, and results-driven environment where different perspectives are valued

UPHOLD OUR VISUAL AND BRAND STANDARDS

• Represent the fashion, style, and service standards of Veronica Beard with authenticity and passion
• Support execution of floor sets and visual updates in partnership with Store Management
• Ensure merchandise, fixtures, and displays reflect current visual direction
• Maintain a clean, organized, and client-ready store environment
• Communicate product, inventory, and visual opportunities to Store Management

SUPPORT STORE OPERATIONS

• Serve as Manager-on-Duty based on scheduling, in partnership with store leadership
• Open and close the store and follow all key-control, cash-handling, and security procedures
• Take initiative in supporting inventory management, loss prevention, and daily operational priorities
• Help protect company assets and maintain accuracy across cash and inventory processes
• Follow and respectfully reinforce company policies and procedures

WHO YOU ARE

• 1+ years of retail sales experience in a high-touch, client focused environment
• Previous keyholder, senior sales, or retail leadership experience preferred
• Experience in luxury or contemporary fashion with a strong foundation in styling, and clienteling, is preferred
• Passionate about selling, fashion, styling, and building lasting client relationships
• Strong knowledge of current fashion trends and the ability to create complete looks
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership and achieve individual sales goals
• Confident leading, mentoring, and supporting others with authenticity and respect
• Strong communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills
• Collaborative, self-aware, and open to feedback and different perspectives
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and opening or closing shifts

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to operate a computer and cash register
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, and climb ladders measuring 6–12 feet
• Ability to grasp, push, lift, and/or carry items weighing up to 25lbs

The base hourly range for this role is between $23.00 and $24.00. The relevant base salary will vary depending on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, degrees, and certifications. The base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, which includes a comprehensive benefits program, uncapped bi-weekly sales commissions that reward both individual and team performance, a clothing allowance, and merchandise discounts.
