As a Salesforce IT Developer, you will serve as the chief technical engineer responsible for designing, developing, and executing complex programmatic solutions that drive our digital banking strategy. This role demands a masterful technical capability to transform sophisticated financial workflows, regulatory compliance frameworks, and high-volume data structures into seamless cloud architectures.
Leveraging an extensive background of 10+ years of Salesforce platform expertise, the successful candidate will lead technical delivery, govern code quality, and implement secure, low-latency integrations. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will pioneer modern Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies by utilizing advanced AI coding assistants and deploying Salesforce’s latest native AI innovations.
Core Responsibilities & Job Duties
1. Enterprise Architecture & System Design
- Financial Services Cloud (FSC) Engineering: Architect end-to-end declarative and programmatic configurations within FSC to model intricate retail and commercial banking structures, relationship groups, and financial accounts.
- Technical Blueprinting: Formulate technical design documents, system blueprints, and data models optimized for multi-tenant enterprise environments.
- Security & Compliance Modeling: Translate strict financial regulations, data governance acts, and banking compliance policies into robust Salesforce sharing rules, profiles, and field-level security frameworks.
2. Advanced Programmatic Development
- Apex Automation Engineering: Utilize APEX to design scalable, object-oriented programmatic patterns, building bulletproof Triggers, asynchronous Batch Processes, queueable jobs, and scheduled actions optimized for Large Data Volumes (LDV).
- Modern Framework User Interfaces: Engineer interactive, responsive, and high-performing client/employee-facing digital experiences using Salesforce Lightning (Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura components).
- Legacy Refactoring: Maintain, optimize, and refactor existing Visualforce pages and controller extensions, systematically migrating legacy frameworks to modern component-based models.
- Database Query Optimization: Design highly efficient data retrieval mechanisms using Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and SOSL, applying custom indexing and query tuning to prevent governor limit time-outs.
3. Enterprise Integration & API Engineering
- Web Service Integrations: Build, test, and deploy secure, real-time inbound and outbound integrations between Salesforce and core banking systems using custom SOAP/REST APIs.
- Event-Driven Architectures: Implement streaming data pipelines utilizing Salesforce Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC), and Pub/Sub APIs to ensure instantaneous multi-platform data synchronization.
- Authentication Governance: Configure secure communication protocols, including OAuth 2.0, SAML-based Single Sign-On (SSO), and Named Credentials to protect critical financial infrastructure.
4. AI-Driven SDLC Acceleration & Cutting-Edge Innovation
- AI Coding Assistance: Maximize development velocity and minimize technical debt by seamlessly incorporating market-leading AI coding assistants, such as Windsurf, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot, directly into daily SDLC workflows.
- Salesforce AI Engineering: Design and implement native, cutting-edge Salesforce AI technologies, including Einstein 1 Platform, Einstein Copilot, Prompt Builder, and Agentforce solutions, to automate banking operations and deliver personalized client experiences.
- Intelligent Automation: Leverage Salesforce Data Cloud alongside AI engines to ingest, unify, and run predictive analytics on complex financial data sets.
5. Release Management & DevOps Governance
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Establish and govern automated deployment pipelines using modern Salesforce DevOps infrastructure (SFDX CLI, GitHub Actions, Copado, Flosum, or Jenkins).
- Code Quality Assurance: Enforce strict code quality metrics via automated static analysis tools and guarantee a minimum of 85%+ comprehensive unit test coverage.
- Technical Mentorship: Lead technical code reviews, establish enterprise development standards, and mentor mid-level developers on platform best practices.
