Salesforce Product Owner / Product Manager

Summary
Owns and drives Salesforce and related COTS platform initiatives, partnering with clients to define roadmaps, backlogs, and delivery while translating business needs into technical requirements and solutions.
We are looking for a Salesforce Product Owner / Product Manager to support business and technology initiatives across Salesforce and related commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) platforms. This role requires hands-on Salesforce experience, product ownership/product management capabilities, client partnership skills, and a consulting mindset.
The ideal candidate combines product thinking, consulting, business ownership, and practical platform understanding.
Responsibilities
- Act as Product Owner / Product Manager for Salesforce and adjacent COTS initiatives
- Partner with client stakeholders and define priorities, roadmap, backlog items, and delivery expectations
- Translate business needs into requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Own and maintain the product backlog
- Support discovery, planning, demos, releases, and adoption activities
- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, BAs, and business teams
- Apply practical Salesforce knowledge across configuration, customization, integrations, automation, reporting, and UX
- Evaluate alignment between Salesforce and COTS platforms
- Identify risks, dependencies, and business impacts
- Serve as a trusted client advisor
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role
- Hands-on expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
- Proficiency in Salesforce Platform, Flows, and Custom Objects
- Skills in Salesforce Reports, Dashboards, and Configuration
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms and COTS solutions
- Capability to translate business goals into delivery priorities
- Background in Agile methodologies and stakeholder management
- Consulting mindset with strong communication skills
- Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Life Sciences GTM, commercial operations, CRM transformation, and field force effectiveness
- Exposure to Veeva, Trueblue, and IQVIA
- Salesforce certifications
- Understanding of integrations, analytics, consent, and engagement processes
