Summary
Remote contract role (3 months, 60–80% workload, extendable) for a senior SAP ABAP developer supporting an international manufacturing client's highly customized SAP landscape. Day to day: ABAP OO development focused on SAP SD / Order-to-Cash, plus Adobe Forms, IDoc/RFC interfaces, and CDS views in SAP ERP/S/4HANA.

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer to support an international manufacturing enterprise. Working within a complex and highly customized SAP landscape, you will drive development and integration support with a primary focus on SAP Logistics, specifically Sales and Distribution (SD) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
This is a flexible, highly remote contract opportunity with a 60–80% workload commitment.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Core ABAP Development: Design, build, and optimize custom ABAP solutions using ABAP Object-Oriented (OO) programming within SAP ERP and S/4HANA environments.
- Logistics & O2C Support: Deliver technical enhancements and custom developments aligned with business processes in SAP SD and Order-to-Cash.
- Forms & Interfaces: Create and maintain Adobe Forms and handle interface integrations using IDoc and RFC technologies.
- Modern SAP Enhancements: Utilize Core Data Services (CDS) views and assist with technical integrations across the SAP ecosystem.
- Collaborative Technical Delivery: Partner closely with functional consultants and technical teams to deliver robust solutions tailored to a customized system environment.
Qualifications & Skills
Required
- Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP and ABAP Object-Oriented (OO) development.
- Functional Focus: Proven development experience in SAP Logistics, with specialized expertise in SAP SD and Order-to-Cash (O2C).
- Integration & Output: Hands-on experience with Adobe Forms, IDocs, RFCs, and Core Data Services (CDS).
- System Knowledge: Solid working experience in SAP ERP and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Languages: Fluent spoken and written English and German.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience with Variant Configuration (LO-VC).
- Familiarity with modern SAP developer frameworks: OData, RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), and SAP Fiori.
- Professional working knowledge of German.
