Senior Software Engineer
Location: Canberra, Melbourne or Brisbane
Contract: Up to 12 months, with extension options up to a further 24 months
Start: January 2027
Clearance: Must be able to obtain Baseline
We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead development activities and deliver reliable software solutions within a large, complex environment.
What you'll do
Design, develop, test and maintain software applications.
Provide technical guidance and mentor other developers.
Support system integration, releases and production deployments.
Resolve complex technical issues and improve code quality.
Work with business and technical teams to deliver practical solutions.
What you'll bring
Strong software development and technical leadership experience.
Experience across software design, testing, integration and deployment.
Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience in a large organisation.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA, UI5, ABAP, Angular or Node.js is desirable.
Working arrangements: Onsite for the first six weeks, unless otherwise negotiated. Hybrid arrangements may then be considered.
