An SAP S/4HANA Finance functional consultant (5+ years FI/CO) supporting manufacturing finance — material ledger, product costing, inventory valuation, and month/year-end close — in an on-site team in Petaling Jaya. The role covers system integrity, testing and validation (SolMan), and integration with procurement, production, EWM, quality, and intercompany processes in a SAFe Agile setup.

Role Summary :
As
a P2DP Finance Team Member, the person will play a key role in delivering
informatics solutions that fulfill requirements for the Finance product team.
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Specialist, focusing on
Manufacturing Finance and supply chain accounting as Material Ledger, Product
Costing, Inventory Valuation, Local and Group Consolidation and all related
integration areas (Procurement, Intercompany Deliver, Marketing Plan to Cash,
Make, Quality and Warehouse Management, Procurement and Demand to pay).
This is a role responsible for ensuring the integrity and stability of
financial processes and related data in S/4HANA, supporting ongoing operations,
system enhancements and business requests.
The ideal candidate will act as a functional consultant and system expert, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and smooth month-end and year-end activities within our SAP landscape.

Responsibilities :
- System
Integrity & Financial Accuracy
Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across all integrated SAP modules and external systems - Support monthly costing runs and material ledger close activities.
- Reconcile discrepancies between the different SAP modules.
- Safeguard data consistency and compliance
- Operational & Project Support
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes for costing and inventory,
ensuring timely and correct reporting.
- Support local business, Shared services and Global IT.
- Third line support when needed
- Support hand-over of processes to the business owners to allow for an open door
to put the accountability in the right place.
- Provide improve ideas to Global template and assist with deployment of new
functionalities
- Go to person in case of business changes and system issues and reconstruction
of businesses, support with acquisition and divestment
- Monitor, test, and validate system changes to ensure compliance with IT
standards
- Participate in system upgrades, validation, and change management processes
(e.g., using SolMan for testing and documentation).
- Collaboration & Business Partnership
- Collaborate closely with finance, supply chain, and IT teams to align system
functionality with business requirements.
- Business minded individual will be key in this role (especially in the area of
Cost and management accounting)
- At ease with S4 Hana environment
- Act as a consultant to the business, analyzing requirements, designing,
building, testing, and implementing system changes.
- Ensure continuous improvement of processes and data integrity within the
S/4HANA environment.
- Work as part of a SAFe Agile team (ART), contributing to sprint planning and
delivery.
Requirements
- Consultant
with expertise in SAP FI/CO ensuring financial data accuracy, compliance, and
integrity. Skilled in reconciliations, controls, and system configuration to
support reliable financial statements and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with SAP Service related (instrument installation, maintenance,
spare parts) costing, software related (selling, installation, subscription)
costing development
- 5+ years of professional experience on SAP FI/CO with strong knowledge of:
- Modules: ML (Material Ledger), CO PC (Product Costing), Intercompany processes,
Integration (Procurement, Demand to Pay,
- Production, EWM, Quality and MP2C) and
FI
- Processes: Product Costing, Inventory Valuation, Inventory risk, Material
Ledger Actual Costing, Intercompany profit in inventory,
- FBMC and Integration
across modules
- Master Data: Material Master, Cost Center and Product Costing Data
- Basic familiarity and experience with the other main integration areas of the
system (SD, MM and PP), in particular the touch points between them and FI
- Experience with the system validation process, including documentation and
testing of validated systems (preferably in Solution Manager (SolMan)).
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural, global and cross-functional
environment across the globe
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with advanced English
proficiency (written and spoken).
