SAP GRC Specialist
Summary
An SAP GRC Specialist in Cairo implements and configures SAP GRC solutions (Access Control, Process Control, Risk Management), designs role-based access controls and SoD rules, and leads audits and governance frameworks. Requires 8+ years of SAP GRC experience, SAP ERP/Security proficiency, and fluent English.
Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for an SAP GRC Specialist for one of our partners, an international chemical manufacturing company.
THE ROLE
The SAP GRC Specialist owns the SAP Governance, Risk and Compliance landscape, covering access control, segregation of duties and audit readiness across the organisation. Reporting to the Head of App Management and Delivery, this is a hands-on individual contributor role with real influence across business, audit and compliance teams.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Implement, configure and maintain SAP GRC across Access Control, Process Control and Risk Management
- Work with business owners to analyse processes, identify Segregation of Duties conflicts and resolve them
- Design role based access controls and authorisation profiles so users get exactly what they need and nothing more
- Run risk assessments and build mitigation plans alongside IT security, internal audit and compliance
- Design governance frameworks, policies and procedures aligned with regulatory standards and internal guidelines
- Carry out regular reviews of GRC processes and controls, close gaps and recommend remediation
- Lead GRC projects and process improvements that raise the organisation’s risk and compliance maturity
- Troubleshoot issues, optimise system performance and train users
- Act as the trusted GRC advisor to senior management, internal teams and external auditors
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Finance or a related field; a Master’s is a plus
- 8+ years implementing, configuring and supporting SAP GRC, with solid depth in Access Control, Process Control and Risk Management
- Strong SAP Security knowledge, including user provisioning, role administration and SoD rulesets
- A track record of risk assessments, governance frameworks and leading GRC projects or audits
- SAP GRC, CISA or CRISC certifications are a strong advantage
- Excellent written and spoken English
YOU’LL THRIVE HERE IF YOU
- Enjoy setting the standard for how things should be done and bringing people along with you
- Can explain a control to an auditor and a business owner in the same meeting
- Pay close attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture
- Are comfortable in a fast moving environment where regulations keep evolving
- Take ownership rather than waiting to be told
WHY THIS ROLE
You won’t be maintaining someone else’s setup. You’ll shape how a global manufacturer governs access and manages risk, with direct visibility to senior leadership and auditors, inside a Centre of Excellence that serves the wider group.
